Purpose: Allies in the Better Choices for Connecticut Coalition are organizing this press conference to address Governor Rell's Executive Order to keep the state operating as we enter the new fiscal year without a budget agreement -- and which eliminates funding in July for important services that Connecticut residents depend on.
Agenda: Press conference at the Governor's Mansion, which will feature students and clients of services impacted by the cuts, is scheduled to convene at 12:00 PM, followed by a press availability at the the Institute for Community Research, whose AIDS services funding has been eliminated in the Governor's Executive Order, at 1:00 PM:
