The CSEA SEIU Local 2001 Good Works Committee recently partnered with Habitat for Humanity for a successful community service event. Held on Saturday, May 11th, the event was well-attended by CSEA members eager to make a difference in their community.

Members enthusiastically participated in various projects, showcasing their commitment to volunteerism and community engagement. The event not only demonstrated the union's dedication to serving its community but also highlighted the importance of collective action and solidarity in union work.

The Good Works Committee extends its gratitude to all members who participated and contributed to the event's success. Their efforts have made a positive impact, reinforcing the union's commitment to giving back and supporting those in need. Not only did chapters and councils support this effort financially, but nearly 2 dozen members from across our local showed up to spend their Saturday with power tools and saw dust. 

The Good Works Committee looks forward to future opportunities to continue its mission of community service and volunteerism, building on the success of this event to further strengthen the union's impact in the community.
