- Tier IIA - If you first performed State Service in a pension-eligible position on or after July 1, 1997, and before July 1, 2011
- Tier III - If you first performed State Service in a pension-eligible position on or after July 1, 2011, and before July 31, 2017
- Tier IV - If you first performed State Service in a pension-eligible position on or after July 31, 2017
